After months of planning to take a trip together, we finally settled on France to kick off our years-in-the-making, best friend extravaganza! Since both of us were already in Europe and neither of us have had explored the south of France yet, it was a pretty easy decision for us. During our research and planning period, we found a couple of lifestyle bloggers who had written posts about their time in a charming, lesser-known town called Annecy (thank you blog community) and immediately filed it under our must-visit list. We spent the majority of our days wandering around the center of town, getting distracted by the plethora of delicious market stalls that lined the blocks and loved every second that we were in Annecy.
For our outfits, we wanted to throw things back to our high school twinning days and decided to both wear denim button-down skirts styled with bell sleeve crop tops, hopping on the 70's trend bandwagon. Mel wore her go to denim skirt with a white lace up crop top and added a black choker to bring a slight edge to her look. Jess, who is a lover of all things overstated and exaggerated, wore a salmon colored, dramatic bell sleeve top with a white button down denim skirt. She chose three dainty lariat necklaces to add a subdued elegance to her neckline.
