Summer Moments at Union Square Park

With Labor Day fast approaching, it's crazy to think how quickly this summer is flying by! Last summer we spent our post-grad time discovering Europe, so it has definitely been nice taking our summer slower this year and enjoying what the city has to offer during the warmer months and sunnier, rooftop-hopping worthy days. Work has slowed down just a bit as many of our colleagues are taking vacations during their kids' time off of school , and we have been thoroughly taking advantage of leaving work while there are still a couple of hours of daylight left in the day. That being said, it has been a few months since our last trip abroad (Japan), and just like clockwork, our restlessness has started settling in yet again.

We spent the last 2-3 weeks debating whether we wanted to travel to a previously unexplored continent, but ultimately decided to return back to Europe in October. Though our trip is still 2 months away, we typically like to plan and have our itinerary down 4-5 months in advance, so we are definitely scrambling now with our detailed excel spreadsheets and getting the hotels booked. We are so excited to share with you our upcoming travel diary series to a new country we have both never been to, so definitely stay tuned.

In the meantime, New York City has been incredible to us this season, and we have taken full advantage of our weekends here exploring new and old favorites. Union Square has one of the best markets in town, and we love coming here to do some samplings and browse what the market has to offer (baked goods, fresh fruits and vegetables, and flowers!).
