I was heading to brunch at Jack's Wife Freda on a Saturday afternoon, and if you know anything about NYC brunch, you have already prepared yourself for a lovely wait. Luckily, we were smart and put down a name before walking the streets of Soho for a bit. I love Crosby Street because it's iconic and is a fan favorite of many of my favorite fashion bloggers. You just can't go wrong on this picturesque nook of Soho :)
I've been seeing shearling everywhere this season and the perfect way to rock is it in a cozy, statement coat. This Topshop piece apparently flew off the shelves the first week it was in stores, so it's definitely a hot item this winter. Even though it is warming up a bit, you can never underestimate how cold it will get here in the city (so be prepared!!!). The suede on this jacket is beautiful and I took the opportunity to also wear some suede over-the-knee boots that I am obsessed with. When I'm not traveling for work and don't feel the need to lug excessive things around with me around the city (which is almost always...), I try to use my Prada Caheir bag as much as possible. This bag is absolutely stunning but since I can't stuff too much in it, I reserve it for days where I'll be out for a quick brunch or going out casually to local bars in East Village.
