The Louvre is the largest and most visited art museum in the world. It's one of Paris' greatest treasures, and to say that it is iconic would be an understatement. I visited the museum over 4 years ago, and while I don't remember the intricate details of my visit inside, I'll never forget the feeling of finally seeing this beauty of a monument in real life. To get the chance to come back again is really special because so much of my life has changed since then and I am flooded with fond memories and flashbacks even as I look at these photos again today..
The Louvre is actually closed every Tuesday, which unfortunately was the last day of my trip. Luckily, there was a drone event going on in the morning, which meant that the entire museum area was blocked off until 9am and I was one of the first to enter (which explains the lack of people in these pictures!). My black and white ruffled jumpsuit is from Laundry by Shelli Segal, and I love love love this piece so much because it has great movement, is incredibly comfortable, and is fun, classy and sexy all at the same time. It's the perfect statement piece for date night, Valentine's day, or going to a show or play! Just dress it up or down with heels or flats and add some accessories.
When you visit the Louvre, make sure you also pay a visit to the main courtyard of the Place du Palais-Royal, where you can find the iconic black and white striped cylinder platforms for more fun photos. Ok, I'll admit that I picked a black and white outfit just to match :)
